Failed actor and musical composer, Eric Ryan came to New York City to find fame and fortune in the 70's, and eventually made his way into gay porn where he proved to be a versatile and engaging presence.  Not a pretty boy, nor a muscle god, Ryan was the sort of fellow who worked for the viewer's attention, and he found it.  Sadly, he passed away in 1993 from HIV.
