With his Tom Cruise-like-looks, athlete's physique, and generous endowment, Ryan Idol became an overnight sensation in gay porn back in the early 90's.

and then in 1998 he fell from the third story window of an apartment building in New York City.  Surprisingly he survived and managed to make his was to a handful of legitimate stage productions.

No happy endings here.  In 2011, Idol was convicted of trying to kill his girlfriend with a toilet tank lid.  He is currently serving a 12 year sentence at Valley State Prison in California.
