The Falcon Look ( I - Bland Settings )

During the 80's through the 90's, Falcon Studios was the undisputed king of Gay Porn.  Churning out hundreds of titles, employing some of the most gorgeous men of the era - Falcon set the standard for upscale dirty movies.

The Falcon men of the golden era, were usually blond (or variances of that shade of hair color), muscular (but not freakishly so), plucked clean of most body hair (waxed chests and almost no visible pubic hair) and so handsome that it sometimes hurt to look at them.

Carnal goings on, were often set in stark, pristine bedrooms...

...on beds large enough to have their own zip codes

In Falcon's world, college dorm rooms had fireplaces and crushed velvet blankets ... to make the mood even more romantic, despite the lack of mood lighting.

White briefs were de rigueur for pre sex scenes.

The simple Falcon sex scene formula was  Kissing, fondling, nipple play, blow job for the dominant, blow job for the passive, dominant getting his ass eaten by the passive, and finally, several variations on the fuck.

Sometimes the players really sold the scene...

Three ways were a personal favorite of mine.  Falcon always excelled at presenting stimulating tag team fucking.

That these men seemed to exist in a world of perfectly coiffed hair, pristine linens and an endless array of sexual partners was the strange magic behind Falcon's look.

Make no mistake, Falcon branched out and did a lot of films that used natural settings (out of doors)'and even began flirting with  leather-themed epics in the early 90's...

but for my money, it was the stark settings, the Stepford-like cast of insatiable studs, and the formulaic action that best summed up this studio in its halcyon days...

...and sometimes, to add a little change to the mix, a beach towel on a white carpeted floor was used.
